"Really, I'm fine," Stephens waved off the second nurse who was preventing him from exiting the small hospital room where they'd seen to the gash on his neck that the Joker had left. A few stitches later, he was as good as new - at least he thought

Crane simply turned and began to walk away despite the nurse's protests.

At the sound of the nurse's voice, Stephens immediately looked over as he walked. Something was obviously amiss as the woman seemed to relentlessly go after a lanky man--

Ill-fitting, but extremely well-detailed clothing, that gait--

Crane.

Oh, hell no.

Two dangerous criminals in one day. Stephens was not about to let this one get away. His adrenaline already up, the detective moved swiftly to where Crane was and without warning, moved to tackle the criminal.

He never heard it coming. One moment, he was striding towards the door, the next, he was sprawled on the ground. His glasses clattered away, rendering the room blurry, but as he twisted around trying to escape, he could almost make out the features of the man restraining him.
"Let me go at once!"

"I don't think so," Stephens snarled. For good measure, he kneed Crane in the back, hard. To whoever was standing nearby, he barked, "Get the officer on duty now!"
