And of course, the awesome day of finding out about my OCS slot had to be followed by one of the crappier days I've had in a while. I went to bed at a decent hour (9:00pm) the night that I found out about my OCS slot (Tuesday), and that's b/c I knew I had to be on TOC guard at 3am. I couldn't get to sleep. I was too well-rested from the night

Oy. Can you see a pattern of what goes wrong with the radios and then maybe figure a way to simulate that while you're still on the FOB?

no, b/c the problem involves the radios not pushing over distance, and there's no way to simulate distance. I can't exactly go off the FOB in one truck all by myself just to test how far it pushes! ;)
