So, some people are named Geoffrey. Why do some people insist on pronouncing this as JOFF-rey? Where did they get that idea? If you're nickmaed Geoff, your name is Geoff (read: JEFF!). I SWEAR, I will haunt the shelves of Kinokuniya and Borders in Sing and look for that book!

I love the idea and believe (really!) that inside all of us is an artist and a politician--and that both practice an art in a very real sense :)

My inspirational book-equivalent is Bird by Bird by Anne Lamott, in which she talks about writing and faith. No, it's not faith as in fundamentalist, church-y kind of faith, but faith of a more personal, quiet kind. I think this is the perfect book for writers. And she's damn funny too!
