I agree. It's hardly an issue, especially in a world where death fails to be permanent. However, it's amusing, to say the least, to watch the mortals panic.

Dying hurts. Most of the humans here grew up learning to fear death; they're afraid of being next. If doesn't matter if you're killing them, or an undead hobo with abandonment issues is. Mortals will always fear murderers.
Tell me, what's the point in thinking it's so "horrible" if death isn't permanent? And what if the murderer had a legitimate reason? Your argument is flawed.
