OH the fact that it's a friend of hers makes more sense. I thought she was submitting a request to switch you out with whoever might so happen to need someplace to go and I was all O.o that is AWFUL.
Not that it isn't still bitchy. It's not fair to ask YOU to leave. Presumably said friend has a roommate ... why can't she switch with the roommate instead?
And you have been making an effort. I know you have. And you haven't done anything wrong, unless you've failed to mention some awful habit that you have or you just aren't aware of one. I think she's just a passive-agressive bitch and it has nothing to do with you but instead has to do with the fact that she wants her friend there.
P.S. Don't bitch at her. If you guys have to live together the rest of the semester, you don't want to make things awful and awkward. Sometimes when we must live with people, it's best to keep our mouths shut about these things. However, I totally don't blame you if you want to go all cold and hostile.
