i've been reading about the new orleans/oklahoma city/baton rouge/norman/charlotte/where-will-we-play-our-next-"home"-game hornets, and about how the team will play a role in the reconstruction of new orleans. my first reaction was that maybe new orleans needs a lot more time to rebuild and repopulate before another nba team lands there, but now i see why new orleans NEEDS the hornets: they need some release from the reality of what new orleans has, in very short order, become.. and anything positive in the city has the ability to, no double pun intented, assist in rebounding (no intention, but pretty good huh?)
i have a friend in med school at tulane... had to leave. i think he's at rice now. but, like you, new orleans was always his first choice over every other place. now... who knows anymore?
STAY UP!
