I'm beginning to wish I'd been a math major so I wouldn't have to fuck around with papers galore. I'm trying to rewrite a paper that I wrote for a history class two years ago. Back then, it had no structure and lots of little redundancies when I passed it in. I don't understand why the prof liked it so much. Now it needs to pass as a writing sample

what math classes are you taking? i've just decided to purge the humdrum of econ to become a math minor. i need some advice from a fellow philosopher about which maths are relevant... eh?

I'm taking Discrete Math right now, which covers logic and set theory somewhat (logic less than Symbolic, but set theory more than Symbolic). Kathryn is taking a set theory class at smith. I think Amherst offer the Phil of Math class in their math department.
