You have a powerful force of will that is soothing, tinted with just the right amount of wisdom to make you sage. No, not like in a small jar. That allows you to see irony and humor in everything, but know instinctively when seriousness and earnest approaches are needed. You flow between it all with grace and ease.

Your compassion for people is inspiring. While I sometimes(!) think it borders on truly masochistic, you've gone through many things that would make lesser souls become bitter and selfish at every turn. Sure, it's left marks, but you're still willing to step up and put your nose out for anyone any time they need it and/or ask.

You stop to smell every rose along your life's path, yet you never miss a step forward.
Many people find small places on the side of that path to rest, perhaps build a home and live their life there among the same flowers every year. Every year it seems more and more people turn to the shortest path of least resistance, skipping the flavor of life. Watching you flit by like Billy from Family Circus helps restore my faith and hope in the world's future.
