Lani let herself into the apartment and shut the door behind her. On her way to her bedroom, she stopped and looked into Kala's room. It was empty. Big surprise there. Especially these days. Forgetfulness
Yesterday was the twins' birthday. I forgot. Forgot to call, forgot to send cards, forgot to buy and send gifts.
Avery won't pick up my calls - Bailey says it's okay, but I can tell she's hurt by it.
Damn, I suck. -

Christmas was wonderful. I'm back in NY. I'm going to get some lunch and go to bed. Or is it dinner? I don't know. I've been up since...awhile. I don't know what time I'm in. I just want to sleep.
And it's cold. I was out yesterday in a skirt and tank top. It was in the seventies the whole holiday. -

It's Wednesday. Where the hell did the week go? I'm leaving on Sunday morning. I have too much to do. I have almost gotten all my gifts. I haven't begun packing, and it's going to be tricky trying to pack all of this. I can do it, though. I'm going to show those suitcases who's boss.

It's 39 degrees here. Back home? 73. Granted I hear it's been raining, but...come on. No, it's not so bad, and yes I will live through it. In fact I'm going to bundle up here soon and make my way to the gym. Then I might get some Christmas shopping done. I haven't started that.
