I hung out with Connie last night. We got Thai take-out and just vegged and talked for a while. It had been a few weeks since I'd seen her, so it was kinda nice to get the chance to catch up. We didn't talk about work though--with everything that's been going on at the DA's office, I figured it was better to talk about other things.
I found out that things with her and Bobby went south. That's a shame, she seemed like she was happy. Whatever shit that's going on with Peluso seems to be dragging her down though. I don't know exactly what it is, but it fell under the category of the W-word, so I'll just chalk it up to him being an ass and leave it at that.
I also found out that she's been spending some quality time with a certain detective friend of mine. Just when I think Danny is actually settling down and developing a type, he goes and throws me a curveball. Not that I'm complaining--I prefer him and Connie to him and Miss Montana--but I just wish he could do something with his life that doesn't shock me.
