Behold ... what a weirdo I was, even at the tender age of 17. This is a Super 8 film I made in 1975.

Wow, what a beautiful thing!! Thank you for showing us!

When I was 17 I used to make stop motion with a magnetic tape video camera that didn't have a single frame feature, and I used to do the sound with multiple tapes, too. I'm inspired now.... :)

Cool music choices. I'm so square, it didn't occur to me when I first heard them (which was in college, mostly) that they were, or might be, about tripping.

I'm not sure that some of them were about tripping. For the most part (except the Paul McCartney thing, "Hi, Hi, Hi", which I despise) I just used songs that I liked.
