Littlefoot's thoughts on Casshern!

Littlefoot loev Casshern and thinks he's super nice! He... doesn't really think Casshern's weird at all, but he doesn't ping as an adult, because he's still learning. He thinks it'd be fun to go on adventures with Casshern and would've invited him back to The Great Valley for vacations if he'd thought of it.

How do you do keywords and stuff? Is there a certain routine/format you like to use to set your CFUD journals up?

I always have a keyword theme for my characters. They range from music to book quotes to TV quotes. It really depends on the character and what I feel suits them. Admittedly, I'm a terrible judge sometimes and do terrible keywords. Speed Racer's were done to Britney Spears.

How would Lien feel about Merlin speaking like a dragon?

Lien would be confused at Merlin having more resonance in his voice than the way he looked would account for, but dragons and humans can learn each others' languages freely in Temeraireverse, even if human voices can't always approximate Durzagh and other feral dragon languages. So her native language is Chinese! It isn't very weird for a human to know that. The idea of her having to obey Merlin despite being a sapient and autonomous person in her own right would enrage her, though.

Five times Merlin had to stop Arthur from sticking his sword in something in an embarrassing way! INTERPRET THAT STATEMENT ANY WAY YOU LIKE.

Actually, that thread could've gone several ways, and the way it did go was seriously funny to me, as Lien doesn't usually bother enough about people to troll! If Iskierka and Granby had been huffily grateful she would've been surprised and "... :| :/" about it.

SOB, I am sad I dropped the character Lien kind of liked. Maybe I should jump her with Honlon more and see how that goes.

I think that thread could have gone the huffily grateful route, in an alternate universe where Iskierka did not update and never found out about what happened in Victory of Eagles! Because that is the only time pre-camp that she ever met Lien personally, and it's also the point in her life in which she was angriest and in despair, and--Lien is extremely representative of that time in Iskierka's head, because she was the mouthpiece for negotiating with her over Granby's life

...man, we've had like three threads total but I LOVE this relationship. I AM GLAD OOCLY THAT LIEN SUCCEEDS IN MAKING ISKIERKA OFF-BALANCE because that is sort of the point of her character

First she was ready to be offended by a courting gift! Then she did a doubletake and wondered why he gave her something, since he's obviously sexually immature as a dragon. Then she remembered about Christmas and was kind of touched! In that :| WELL IT WAS A FITTING SIGN OF RESPECT HOW APPROPRIATE way. She's going to use it as an opening to learn written and spoken Barsburg along with Raggsian.

How often does Temeraire try to spy on Lien to see if she's going to start a visible plot while just hanging around?

Temeraire actually doesn't try to spy on Lien very often, because he knows there's no subtle way to do it and so he'd much rather just avoid her. But if he happens to be in the same area as her, like around the library, then he'll totally eavesdrop, sure. He hates her and he distrusts her, but he DOES expect her to mostly keep to the treaty, if only because her pride will want to show off at keeping her word longer than the British. GRANBY IS THE PARANOID ONE.

What exactly has Lien been eating in camp? Does she hunt? DID YOU STEAL MY COOK?

She doesn't hunt. I THINK WATANUKI DID INTEND TO COOK FOR HER, but I don't know whether he actually ended up doing so or not! If he doesn't, she just lands outside the mess hall and politely requests a meal from the cooks, preferably something with rice. |D

It would obviously make her horribly conflicted, since she's developed other loyalties and doing stuff he wouldn't necessarily approve of, but PRINCE PRINCE PRINCE PRINCE PRINCE PRINCE. She'd probably withdraw from what camp relationships she has sharply and go into crazy jealous protective mode over Yongxing. The British can't so much as breathe on him. :E

What character would you like to see in camp most from one of your canons right now?

...DO I HAVE TO PICK ONLY ONE? There are lots of people I want, but well, as you might intuit from as much as I've been annoying Mikage, I would really love a Gaga from PPY :(( A princess needs her steward! And then I would stick to him like glue.

HOW DID LITTLEFOOT'S VACATION GO

Littlefoot's vacation went exactly as he'd predicted, pretty much! His grandparents believed him about the Land Where Time Moved Strangely and told him to be careful and stuff, Petrie, Ducky, and Spike wanted to hear everything that'd happened since Ducky left, and Cera sulked and yelled at him that he'd better do something more exciting before he got back for good. HE HAD FUN. Going there and coming back had the effect of making him mad homesick, though.
