The assemblage of the irritating

Anyone who has sat through any course in academia has run across at least one annoying classmate. Today I noticed that there is an unusually high concentration of said bothersome assholes in my philosophy class. The reason behind this is unclear to me; perhaps philosophy is a subject that draws such people out of the woodwork, perhaps I’m stuck ( Read more... )

I seem to have an overabundance of annoying people in my classes this semester, too, but I also have an annoying 40+ year old student, who more often than not is still there by the time the 9 o'clock class comes in. She just doesn't get it. Everyone should die.

I think you have forgotten one of the most prominent categories of students today...the "elite, naive, angst-ridden brat", who thinks everyone but himself obviously has got it all wrong. Your soo right, how dare could anyone without looks as good as yours dare show their face in the light, much less DARE look at someone of your stature. Also, that annoying mother who absolutely does not have the right to try and get an education, what was she thinking? She should stay at home and just be content with her current situation, which it sounds like you knew enough about, that you could judge her. I understand that at your age you feel that everyone should adjust according to your ideals, but guess what,,the world is not an ideal place, and its not getting better any faster with little shits like yourself trying to put everybody else down,, get over it. Move on.

It seems like you rely on dictionaries and internet research to try and prove your point, which proves mine of your credulous opinions. But then again, you didn't argue the "naive" part,,,

Of course I didn’t argue the “naive” part. In case you didn’t notice, I didn’t argue ANY part. I merely pointed out your hypocrisy and lack of understanding of the words you use. I then went on to explain the purpose of my entry and how it was successful in reaching its goal. I included exact dictionary definitions of two words both as a service to those with a handicapped vocabulary like you and as a stylistic element. I thought the juxtaposition of your misusage and exact definitions of words added a bit of flair. Anyway, could you please explain how not butchering the English language, vis. “You rely on dictionaries,” or actually researching the credibility of my standpoints instead of making assumptions, vis. “internet research,” makes me “naive”?
