ADMIN: Change in posting Schedule

Because we had enough artists to offer art to all stories, including section 1 and 2, all stories will now go live on the 18th, to give the artists time to finish their work.

Authors and artists may link to their work as soon as it goes live, but we ask that it not be reposted for one month after that.

Excellent! When is the final draft now due? My beta flaked on me and I had to find a new one, who hasn't gotten back to me with substantial edits yet. :)

Well the original artist deadline was the 12th and that has been extended because of the first draft submission, so if we say the 12th for final drafts so I have enough time to make sure everything is ready for the go live.

By not reposting you mean that we can only post on LJ? Even if we regularly post on sites like dA too? And I'm curious why you have the one month rule when that could help pimp the comm if things were crossposted.

The idea is to get people to go to the archive and then read and view everything there and hence find the other fics as well. Hence reposting is not allowed for one month, as stated in the original rules (which said Jan because the posting was supposed to originally start at the beginning of Dec).

So posting links to your own work on the archive and pimping the fest is fine, but reposting is not, until the month is up, at which point it's free for all and people can repost to their heart's content.
