Just finished watching "Little Island" on Masterpiece Theatre. Enjoyed it very much. I must not have gone to that dinner. . . We would have sat with you guys. Sheesh that was a particularly bad day for me!

Yes, that was a most difficult time for you! I don't think you were at the dinner. I have only vague memories of it, and no doubt I pushed a lot of those bad feelings from my mind (and old age helps as goodness knows this was over 20 years ago. Gasp!)

You were the main reason I stayed at that annoyingly white college all four years! (The good education helped too AND those other students we hung out with during our Junior year. Whatever happened to them??)
