I couldn't ask for anything better. Great dialogue. Your Chuck/Blair are so precious and bittersweet. I was overwhelmed with a feeling of sadness for them when it ended and, of course, because this fic is done.

<3 <3 i really appreciate that, and i'm so glad you liked it. argh, the dialogue is hard because they're so snappy on the show, sex is so much easier :P

i miss when the dialogue was that snappy. season two tries a bit too hard to try to make every chuck/blair exchange epic or shakespeareanesque with these lofty corny lines and pop culture references. it's been a difficult to relate to them and simply not as fun (i think the actors pull them off brilliantly though).

anyway, i finally read the disclaimer because i keep re-reading and reading so much that i had to read something i haven't read: I ignored Blair's comment to Serena in 1.09 about sleeping with Chuck twice, because that's no fun ;).

i never took what blair said to serena literally. she was more about being on the defense than admittance. it just seems pointless to sleep with chuck for revenge when she was keeping it a secret, something she's doing for herself. but you will never know with that show. everything awesome happens off screen.

i really agree, they overdramatised everything, i'm hoping they get to do something cute and normal-ish next season. even just once. i think that's why i love the make out scene in Hi, Society so much.

lol, reading and rereading? yeah, the revenge excuse was total bullshit. killed me when she was all like, 'jealous you haven't slept with him too?' i kind of love when blair gets ridiculous and irrational. i just meant, like, ONLY twice? :P

WONDERFUL STORY!!! It's always sad to see a WIP end, especially one which has such sound characterization, but I'm just glad you shared it with us!
