I have reoccuring dreams. I often wake up in the middle of the night, tangled in my sheets and whimpering softly. For a few seconds I remember traces of the monster and the shadows that scared me so badly, and then they're gone. There's something perfect about waking up to a note taped on your bedroom door. I can't say that this happens very often, but when it does, it's beautiful.
