Beginnings
Right now I’m at the beginning of a new project. I’m very excited. But it’s hard.
Every time I start writing something new, it feels like the most impossible thing in the world. No matter how much I love the idea or the characters. No matter how detailed my outline or how perfect a soundtrack I’ve put together.

The Nicest Place on the Internet

2011 into 2012
One of my favorite scenes in one of my favorite books (Betsy in Spite of Herself by Maud Hart Lovelace) is when Betsy and her friend Tib stay up all night on New Year’s Eve (to ring in 1908) making resolutions to be different. Circus Galacticus is OUT!
Whee! Today is the official release day for Circus Galacticus!
I am so excited that Trix and the gang are finally flying out into the world! I really tried to push myself with this book, trying new things.
