Well, it's been a week since I told my mom that I was transgendered. From what little I've heard from her on the topic, it seems that she has done a little bit of research when she could during that time. Unfortunately, she came to the conclusion that it was caused by her due to genetics (a theory that has some evidence, but not a lot). Nobody ( Read more... )

Alright, this is D-Day. If I am going to tell my mother on this trip, it will happen today. The weather forecast is warning of up to 3 inches of snow today, so if that actually happens, I may not be going back to Chambana until Sunday. We'll know in the early afternoon. Well, the update on the mother issue is this:

I will be visiting home on the 13th. I will spend some amount of time with my mom. If the opportunity to discuss my transgenderism comes up, I will do so, otherwise I will just feel the waters and see how long I think I should wait.

Here's hoping that the weather is relatively good this week.
