Today is my twelfth wedding anniversary. I didn't expect jewelry, or even a card. (If you know my husband, then it is fitting to not expect those things.) What a delightful experiment I've had these last 38 years with the body I've been given. I've broken many bones (all but one horsey related), had cancer, West Nile Virus and a ten pound baby boy.
