She's really not that pregnant. It just shows more since there's two of them in there. She likes it though, that he insists on taking care of her, and not letting her do much of anything.
"Jean...sweetheart," she paused as she watched him from the rocking chair she was sitting in, a mug of tea resting on her stomach. "The instructions are right over there."
"Non!" he declares around the screwdriver, furrowing his brow as he fits two pieces together. "I don't need the instructions. I can figure this out on my own."
He works stubbornly for a few minutes, and manages to make a little progress before he runs into another wall, grumbling French curses under his breath.
"Jean..." She laughed at him, covering her face slightly with one hand, and with the other grabbing the cup of tea so it didn't spill as she laughed. "You've been struggling with the first step for the past forty five minutes. I don't think it's supposed to take that long." She grinned a bit, and then applauded when he finally got two pieces together.
"Alright, alright. Come on. Time for a break, I think."
