1. What did you do in 2009 that you'd never done before?
Fall in love with the right person, move out of Boone (for reals this time) drop out of school, remember what its like to be truly happy and at peace(I'd done this when I was much younger, but damn, it's been a while)

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't remember if I made any. This year I'd like to draw/write in my sketch book more.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Not this year. Woo.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
I don't think so

5. What countries did you visit?
Just stayed in the US.

6. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?
I'd like it to be like the later part of '09, the first 6 months of 2009 we're real real bad. I'm glad I'm not an alcoholic anymore.

7. What date(s) from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
I'm bad with exact dates, but I greatly enjoyed my birthday party, my show at the Nth, Penland and all it's glassy glory, moving to MD in Sep (whatever 3 day weekend that was), the day we ridiculously hungover looked at house and found ours-and the day we got it. The christmas icestorm in boone with my parents apples to apples and lindsay was pretty great too. The one date I've got pretty solidly is Dec 29th, the best huzzah tuesday ever when Darcy proposed.

8. What was your biggest accomplishment of the year?
Making the choice to do something really good for myself.

rainbow birthday party, show at the Nth, suusi, penland, moving, house hunting, costume making, getting all engaged.

16. What song will always remind you of 2009?
probably the songs that play on the radio station darcy listens to. The fireflies song probably.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? ridiculously happier
ii. thinner or fatter? probably fatter. I tend to actually eat when I'm happy.

oh lord, we went to boone to see my parents. There was an ice storm, no power, heat, or water. There was chainsawing, hotel apples to apples drinking with parents and lindsay, and just glorious good times all around. I got to see people I love and miss, and eat delicious food my daddy cooked.

Pawnstars. It's endlessly entertaining.

I'm not willing to hate people, it's not worth the time and effort at all. If you don't like someone, why would you invest that much energy into them?

I don't know, I'm pretty satisfied

Liz, Sam, and Wetzel. Darcy's parents are also pretty awesome.

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2009:
I don't know. Christmas tree farms in MD suck. People handle loss in different, often unreasonable, ways. Don't be afraid to make radical life changing decisions, sometimes it is right.

40. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year:
that would take a lot more looking shit up than I am up for right now.
