I've been trying my hand @ photography lately - and implementing in to my new site layout. I've decided to go a different direction with www.NotAsian.com (site name may change later) and remove the member section. My main decision is to only have creative portfolios representing me. Thanks! The first one is my favorite. It's a freaky sculpture we picked up in London.

I'm never good at describing why I like something. But I do like them all.
That middle one... there's something about the angles I'm drawn to.

Looking forward to seeing you again soon.

I'm glad that you like 'em. A_ asked me if I'm ever going to shoot models, but I think I do better with objects.

Can't wait for the shoot! See you soon. =)

I love the first one. They are all interesting, but the first is by far the best. Something about the angle and lighting brings the sculpture (or is it a doll?) almost to life, and the "almost" is what's great about it.

The second one is a really interesting (and well done) experiment, and I hope you play around with this idea more, with different things in the background.

The third is adorable. The dog's got a wise and sensitive look. If you take the idea of "dog" out of the picture and just look at the textures and colors, it has the quality of an aerial photograph of a mountain emerging from a dirt-brown plain. If you are going to do more extreme closeups with this particular model, you might want to play around with that idea.

Just some random thoughts. Now I'll hop over to your site to see more of your photography.

The first one is my favorite too. It's a sculpture we picked up in London, and it sits over our fireplace in the living room. It is definetly eerie. I've taken a few pictures of it... It's extremely photogenic.

Thanks so much for your comments, I really appreciate the insight. =)
