Today I bought 100 yards of flannel, and a serger. $300.

I win.

That is SO full of win. I can't believe you got a serger for that cheap. Freakin' sweet!

It was $180 for the serger - original price $300! I hope this one lasts a lot longer than my last one.

Aww, poop. You just reminded me that I meant to get to Joann today to buy flannel for lounge pants for everyone.

Also, I covet your serger. Mine is a dinosaur that is supposedly the most difficult serger to thread out of all the modern sergers ever made. Serger repair folks run in fear when I bring it in for service. I wonder if they'd pay me to get a new one and save them from the frustration?

This new one is a Singer and so far is WAY better than my previous one (a Kenmore branded one, but I think the maker was Janome). It's usual cost was $300, but I got it for $180 today at Joanne. I LOVE IT. So far it runs like a dream.

What does one do with 100 yards of flannel?

So many diapers. Each takes about 3 yards (they're for adults) depending on size so it's approx 33 ish diapers. I already had some flannel at the studio too, so it's going to take me awhile to get through it all.

I will also probably make a few pairs of PJ pants.
