I really shouldn't start looking at the V&A's online collection at 1 in the morning... except that I find wierd, wonderful things like this. And learn new things, like that Phillip Stubbs was a Purtian. Which kinda explains why he was going on about women wearing doublets

I, too, am especially in the doldrums this week about gainful employment.
there's the temp job (not quite 40 hours, and less $hourly than I'm used to) plus the retail job (significant drop in hours recently) - but it's still not enough, and there's no sick or vacation time, etc. blah blah
Why can't I even find the motivation to apply for jobs?
