Well now... anonymous November 7 2005, 01:59:20 UTC
It's not that the game is being taken too seriously, Lee. Granted, Assassin is more like a tradition than a game now. It is the concept of one person taking away leadership from another, the only reason being seniority, that is being ranted about here. Sean earned it, deserves it, and I believe he is fully capable of running Assassin.

Anyways, no one would want to play two assassin games at once (well, except maybe me), so I believe it is wise of you to back off for the time being. I'm not saying that it's right for him to do this, because it isn't, but when all else fails, nothing teaches a man a lesson better than failure. So let him run his game, so he has some kind of self-fulfillment in his otherwise "sucktastic" life. (I'm not being mean, I'm just taking the words from the horse's mouth.) Maybe the game will turn out fine. Maybe.

Too bad Mason isn't the one that started assassin....

That is true; Justin was the one who brought Assassin to LC. But I don't see him around very often...do you?

Truly, Corey should be getting the credit for starting up Assassin last year. I just ran the tournament last spring.

Unfortunately, neither Justin nor Andrew left any kind of rules for succession, so someone had to, as they say, "take up the cross." And guess what? People really enjoyed that practice round run by Corey--especially the freshmen. What matters more: who started it in the first place, or the assurance that Assassin is kept fun and fair by putting a capable person in charge? I hope you think the latter.

(Sorry for the multiple posts...my brain is kinda fried after finishing up some chem and calculus homework, so my thoughts are pretty scattered at the moment.)
