Wow. I was so going to do this yesterday, but my sister wanted me to wait until we got back from my moms, and I didn't get back until 8 and I was so so tired. But, I called in to work today (work sounded totally not fun) and have all the time in the world (7 hours?), so here we go!
(
Cut for anyone on my flist who could care less about Hanson :) )

Great report! The guys actually looked like they were having a good time on stage, which is more than what I can say about the show I went to.

They always seem to have a pretty good time in Minnesota, which is pretty cool, but it was really odd to see them goofing off on stage and all that. We've never been a place to have the "special" shows. I don't see how you can not have a good time up in Canada though. It's Canada!

Sooooo, explain the gorilla because I am totally in my own Hanson fan world. I never hear anything cool about concerts.
it totally feels like they half assed Kansas City. We didn't get any sweet cartoons (I don't think... but we came in when Ingram Hill was playing). But I had fn so whateve. Aren't Christmas Hanson shows the best? They really get into the spirit <3
And LMAO your pictures and stories have me crackin' up every time. your picture with Isaac=priceless! he wouldn't give me the time of day if I begged him for it lol
I'm glad your show was totally awesome and in a mean but not mean way I'm glad your walk was as lame as mine lol. I spent most of the time trying not to be trampled (for I am but 5'2" so Ike must be afraid of small people lol) and trying to keep up with the frantic pace everyone else was keeping. I've decided traveling in a hoard is just not my thing.

I'm not sure what the deal is with the Gorilla. Someone just brought it onstage and Isaac just started singing to it LOL. That's about it. And as for the cartoons, the venue played them, not Hanson. First Ave always plays movies or shows before the show in between sets.
It must be the fear of short people, which is lucky for me since I rise above that by being a really tall short person. But yeah, the walk was not magical and awesome like everyone else made it out to be. It was terrifying and depressing mostly. I suppose that's fitting when it benefits AIDS.

I've never been to Planet Hollywood, since they've closed just about every one here in MN. We do have TGI Fridays, and I've never had a problem with them, though I'd rather go to Ruby Tuesdays or Applebees. Hell, I mainly stick to Perkins and IHOP...I like my breakfast, especially at midnight.
