I just went to a thrift store that I frequent often and made an excellent purchase. It's a Coumbia small portable turntable Model 412. It plays 78, 45, 33 speeds with a built in 45 adapter. It was marked 40 but showed them that the speaker wasn't working (knowing it works fine) and got it for 20. All I had to do was reconnect the needle to the

hehhehe... I've been tryin' to get my hands on a good one for what seems like forever. This is perfect for me checkin' records out before buyin' 'em and also for work... I'm planin' on keepin' this one. Hell, I'm even tempted on modifying it by addin' extra jacks and what not... It's from the 50s....
