(no subject)
today, was very nice. a very good birthday.
i woke up at kris's house because daysha came and picked me up again last night. we planned on getting drunk, but instead we sat around kris's house with jenna and erin watching *shudder* RDS skate videos and smoking pot.
I'll miss that daysha, she's a character. another complete stranger I met off the internet and went drinking with haha.
anyway so i snuck out this morning and with my sweaters bundled and my scarf wrapped right i walked the 8 blocks to center mall and met matt, we went to anthony's and shae met up with us.
shae and Ileft, got beef froms sav's and spent an hour listening to dori (shae's horny in-heat cat) meow and growl at beef haha.
then supper with shae, mother and chey.
then show at the bassment whichw as alot better then I expected. I got free double highballs, during the UPD set Aaron who I havnt seen since highschool took me to winstons and bought me a shot and 3 beer, he said he's looking for a drummer and a rythm guitarist/vocalist, i todl him I'm qualified, so something new may be arising.
the show itself was decent, but most of all I was happy and relativiely drunk so i was social and talked alot and got along with everyone.
and guess what?
fucking rob (my father) sent me an e-mail.
first one since February 16th.. OF LAST FUCKING YEAR.
he sent me a shitload of pictures of my sister (samantha) who's going to be 3 on the 25th.
his e-mail concluded with:
"I dont forget the date, just to communicate"
so.. basically he remember's his "son's" birthday, but forgets to communicate with him? the thought was nice, but jesus guy. i mean seriously?
it was a nice e-mail and no matter what that man is my father, so like everytime I forgave him and was glad he took the time to e-mail me.
he asked me to send him some music, and last night I started recording my own version of Nirvana's "Even In His Youth"
which has the line "Daddy was Ashamed, daddyw as ashamed he was something"
I figured maybe that'll be nice for him to hear? even though the vocals are alced with delay so it's disguised.
