OK, I don’t think I'm one to complain a grate deal. I try my hardest to look on the bright side and find something positive to say about every situation I come up against, good or bad. And I know times are hard for us now. The hurricane is bearing down and its hard on every one to have 11 people in one house, two of them being kids. And I should be ( Read more... )

I'm a little weird. I do everything and anything they need me to do. Honestly, nothing is very had to do. Weather its putting a sandwich together or using a touch screen to place an order. Drive thru cash is a hassle because you have to take orders in one ear and make change and interact with another customer with the other. And everything in drive though is rush rush rushed. Gotta get those orders out under projection, ya' know. If I had to choose, I would choose drive thru runner. That’s getting the food for the drive thru had outer. They get special consideration because of the pressure on everyone to get the orders out as fast as possible. I guess my most consistent job is prep/breaks. I go in and do all the things that need to be done before hand to make everyone run smother. Like make sure we have plenty of buns and wraps and fixings and such. Then after that I work with the floor manager and take over anyone’s position who is taking their 30 minute break and generally help everyone who needs it. I like doing that because I get ( ... )

That makes me RAWR. I hate bad parents. Don't have kids if you don't want to parent them properly. I feel for you. Many a time I've had to take refuge in a small Warwick, Rhode Island apartment with many of my animals, I mean relatives. It sucks. Just hang in there, it will be over eventually. If the kids really start pissing you off, try parenting them yourself. That's what I always did with my little sisters. Just a tip, though. If you do that, keep it discreet. No uh..name calling or real discipline. quiet bribery works better ;D

Also, remember you were once an annoying-fucking-little kid too.

Rawr is right! ^_^ Parents should take care of every aspect of their kids, including the not so pleasant parts. I'll try the bribery thing. I have many movies they haven’t seen that they want to so I'll manipulate them into being good like that. I wish I didn’t have to, though. I wish they could make decisions on their own without my mother or me having to watch them like hawks. *sigh* I guess that’s not meant to be, though.

And nothing could make me believe I was as bad as this. I might have been stubborn and self-absorbed, but I was never a liar or a chronic repeater of stupid shit. Kids nowadays are different. But I should attempt to have more patients with them, and let my feelings be known to the adults. THEY should know better. Thanks for your advice! ^_^

Yes...it is annoying to have to parent other people's kids. When I said that you were probably a nasty little child at some point, I more meant in the eyes of your (I'm assuming older) sister. Older sisters 9 times out of 10 have a love-hate relationship with the little ball of snot that pops out and steals the spotlight. Because I know I did when my little sister Harmony came along.

And remember, bribery is always sweeter when you put it into game form ;F
