Let me put it plainly...this month SUCKS.
Having begun with 3 emergency room trips for Mister Reusch, followed by our van dying in a cloud of smoke on I95 and the consequent car rentals, scrambling to buy a new van, registration bs, etc., , then Shawn passing away, then 5 days packed with shows for which I had no sleep and barely had time to eat ( Read more... )

Your costume was truly fantastic (no pun intended...), definitely worth the time and effort in my opinion!
I had a lot of fun performing with you guys; I hope the current drama doesn't prevent that from happening in the future. :(

I'm so glad to hear (well, see) you say that as both Jen and I really did enjoy performing with you gals as well (like I said, those high kicks were dead sexy). It was a blast getting goofy about everyone's March misery in the dressing room and I enjoyed the opportunity of getting to know you better.
While I felt I had to say something about the current situation, I had really hoped to make it clear that it in no way has anything to do with you, Jezebel or any of the other Babydolls. I think we all share the same goal of putting on a good show and having as much fun with it as we possibly can.

Yeah, that was really fun! I'm sad I couldn't see Jen's act though.

We do all share the same goals. I just wish I had something constructive to say. Regardless of what is right, the in_pasties discussion has been unnecessarily vicious; I don't feel anything I have to say (being a babydoll and all) would be seen as valid. I was going to comment on the thread on your journal, but I think you made it private. Or I'm just an idiot and I can't find it now.
Whatever the end result of this, I hope its a positive one.

I do as well and I hope you understand why I felt I had to say something. I also don't think anybody would count out what you have to say; in fact, I'm sure your input would be welcome because you may have a different take or perspective on things that hasn't been considered yet. As vitriolic as it has gotten, it's still supposed to be a discussion and your voice has as much right to be heard as anyone elses ( ... )
