....actually, doesn't that figure. Linner blinks, actually chuckles a little, and then remembers the belt situation. He fumbles to refasten it but keeps staring at her. --oh, so it is the building. S-sorry.
[If you're sorry, don't come in, Linner. And don't reach behind you to shut the door. H-he. Right now is just thinking about teasing her but. Thinking of appearances would be nice, Linner.]

[Huh, and here she thought things couldn't get much more awkward. But Linner's laughing gets her to pry the rest of her face out of her arms to look up properly. What's so funny, huh? Given she thinks they've only met once in a shop, he's actually got more to go on than her, so she doesn't see the humor.
Or, is it just the chances of her being in here when he's- Well. The obvious? Annnd now she'll be stapling her gaze on his face so she doesn't look down at the movement at the belt. So far so good - the imitation of a cherry is purely coincidental.]
I-it's fine, you couldn't know. Just- [What's the polite version of 'get out' again?
Well, she should have thought of it sooner, given he just closed the door. Which would work, if he were on the other side of it. She'll be giving the door a glance before focusing back on his face, attempting to look confused. Instead of just cornered. W-what is he doing? Time to unwind from a human ball enough to sit up straight and ask.]
[Linner had thought he'd grown out of actually physically starting when someone surprised him. Thought he'd grown out of being surprised, too.
Yeah, no. He'll kind of be jumping a little before he turns around and - oh great, a "Thistle" (though really, more of a male "Ivy") someday he really needs to learn the proper names for the various bakurae subspecies. He calms himself down and shrugs.]
Apparently not. I didn't think it'd be an issue. [Have as much of a smirk as he can muster.]
