What's really special about D'espairsRay is that all the members are equally important. There are lots of bands (most bands) that if they lost a member, they could easily get another and go about as usual. But if one member of D'espairsRay were to leave for some reason (God forbid-- it hurts even to think about it), the band would never be the same. I think their success is due, in large part, to the relationship and connections between all the members.
Ah, yes. Karyu puts everything he is into his music. That's what always drew me to him. I remember the first time I saw「タトエバ」キミ．．．ガ．．．シンダ．．．ラ, I was just awe-struck by how potent and absolute his energy and passion was within the music.
