i agree... but... when the topic is "childhood sexual abuse" she should NOT be asking about rape, date rape, roofies(sp?), sexual assault (in general), and other topics, she should have kept it on childhood sexual abuse. we weren't prepared to discuss anything else, mentally, emotionally, or based upon the materials we were supposed to read for today. at least 1/2 the class felt uncomfortable bcuz of how she started the class. i dont really feel like typing a lot more about this, but if u want to talk gimme a call or next time i see u or somethin.. basically tho, i dissociated for a good few hrs today as a result.

i'm sure she didn't do it intentionally...
asking personal questions when the topic has to do with sexual violence can be a very good, productive, healing and powerful idea...
unfortunately, it isn't always executed flawlessly.
