The owner of Saratoga Winners club in Colonie has been arrested for starting the fire that burned down the structure last month.

Akiva Abraham, 43, of Rexford, is charged with felony arson, insurance fraud and falsifying business records for starting the fire that devastated the building.

honestly i'm not surprised. it seemed pretty obvious this was arson, the question was whether it was stupid kids playing with fire or the owner trying to collect...

a lot of good shows i saw there over the years. dumb-ass!!

I'm surprised that place needed accelerants to burn, that place was an old as shit wooden structure; but it whenever I was there at a show, the business side of things was always... shady.

Yeah, you could probably set that place ablaze with a couple of twigs and a Bic lighter. It will be missed. Hopefully someone will rebuild on the site.
