Just wanted to touch base with my favorite peeps. Chicago remains humid and cultural, I've lost ten pounds (medication) while eating those cheap egg salad sandwiches you get at the convenience store (medication) and...I think I 'ship Draco/Hermione? Is the humidity you get some kind of "lake effect" thing?

I have naught for fic recs. I can, however, recommend a canoe as a great non-LJ place to relax. ;)

Well, this month I LOOKED at canoes as I slept outside a lake house. It was totally almost the same.

Just looking at canoes sounds like a lot less work than carrying them.

Apparently we left the Boundary Waters Canoe Area just in time for the entire thing to catch on fire. (Note: it was started by a lightning strike, not campers!)

I am okay. I was considering coming to Chicago for the JoCo/TMBG concert next weekend, but I am out of town almost every other weekend this month, so I couldn't face yet another one. You?
