a little late... but better than never!
1. What did you do in 2009 that you’d never done before? Finished Grad school
2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I did lose weight, but not as much as I wanted, and this year I made a few little ones, but no more about weight
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? not close... but lots of ppl I know have either just had a baby, or their baby turned 1 this year!
4. Did anyone close to you die? Dan's great aunt and another family member of his
5. What countries did you visit? Belize, Mexico, and Guatemala
6. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009? a real job!
7. What dates from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? December 18th, that was the day I was officially done with school forever! March 6-15, Dan and I went on a cruise, and it was his first.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? Graduating
9. What was your biggest failure? Hm... thats hard... I don't think I really had any huge failures... possibly my self esteem issues and not overcoming them as much as I wish I could, but I have learned that it is just going to be an ongoing little battle I have to suck up
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? I had a cold in the early part of the year... then I missed most of Christmas because I spent it laying on the bathroom floor between bouts of vomiting... and that sickness turned into a cold of some kind... Overall I was relatively healthy and my bulging discs didnt flair up too much!! (knock on wood)
11. What was the best thing you bought? Probably books.... I always love me some books. I did buy an ipod... only because my old one broke, but i love it, even though it cost way more than I needed or should have spent! I also bought a blackberry this year... and I don't know how I would live without it!
12. Whose behavior merited celebration? Dan... he continues to surprise me and makes me so happy!
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? Hmm... this is hard... there are a lot of people...
14. Where did most of your money go? Bills... food... school...
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? The cruise in March... and Christmas!
16. What song will always remind you of 2009? Probably anything by lady gaga or taylor swift... not because they are the best, but their music was played... and overplayed this year!
17. Compared to this time last year, are you: (a) happier or sadder? (b) thinner or fatter? (c) richer or poorer? I am happier because school is over, but sadder because I have no real job! THINNER!! Definitely poorer
18. What do you wish you’d done more of? Hanging out with friends
19. What do you wish you’d done less of? Spent money on crap...
20. How did you spend Christmas? Well... I started throwing up at my dads house 30 minutes before christmas dinner on christmas eve... and that continued till midnightish. I opened my presents in bed, very slowly over a few hours. Then I went to my moms, where both of my sisters, and my mom had the same illness I had... so we opened presents, then took turns being sick all day! Then I went to boston, where i very slowly recovered!
21. Did you fall in love in 2009? I already was, but I continue to fall in love...
22. What was your favorite TV program? ANTM, OTH, Life, FlashForward, Cougartown, Modern Family, Glee, and many more...
23. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year? Probably
24. What was the best book you read? That's too hard.... Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Piccoult. This book was just... incredible
25. What was your greatest musical discovery? None.. I am so bored of music... Like, please come out with something worth listening to! Does Glee count? I could say I enjoyed Glee's music
26. What did you want and get? A computer

28. What was your favorite film of this year? Avatar, Bride Wars, Harry Potter, etc. etc.
29. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? 23, we had an awesome party!
30. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? If my student loans had up and disappeared. (I stole this from Kenzie, but I completely agree)
31. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2009? College Dress for the first 3/4 of the year... then adult/librarian-wear
33. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? Gerard Butler..mmm.. and Johnny Depp as Always
34. What political issue stirred you the most? Hmm... I don't pay attention most of the time, but the health care reform is a big issues for me..
35. Who did you miss? Courtney and my college friends
36. Who was the best new person you met? Most of the people at the school i was at for student teaching
