So all that rumbling underground wasn't all talk then.

Naoto had found herself walking before one of the worms popped up in front of her. Blade ready without a moment's notice, she prepared herself to fight. One problem. She couldn't look in the monster's direction for too long. Her eyes started to burn and she looked away. Just how the hell as she supposed to fight this thing if she couldn't even look at her own enemy?

But then something strange happened. It moved away from her. She wasn't wearing yellow, so she was safe for the moment. Not like Naoto knew that was the fact that saved her life for now.

If she was safe now, it was only going to last a short while. Naoto knew she would have to fight. But for now, she needed to find someone else.

He was distances apart from behind Naoto, and unfortunately for the both of them, Roxas was clad in yellow. Or, his hair to be exact. And while absolutely having no idea why it was chasing him, other than the fact he'd probably make a nice side dish, he was sprinting and sprinting like a mad man.

All felt hopeless, but he had to keep on running, else he wanted that monstrosity to devour him whole. Roxas couldn't even afford to spare a few seconds to look behind him, and as he frantically looked around to find a safe haven, he tripped on some debris. There was barely any time to get up and escape, so he shuffled around and used the metal pipe he'd found in a desperate attempt to block the worm's jaws.

Naoto heard the noise behind her and instantly turned around. The young boy was being chased and well, fighting for his life. Katana in hand she rushed forward, digging the blade into its side. The sword did its damage was the worm flailed about.

"Come on," she said, holding out a hand to him. They needed to get somehwere safe. The woman was trained in fighting against people, not monsters.
