[ and Hadesu is power-walking to and from patients on the second floor to the first floor, making sure the kitchen is all prepared and good on supplies. it was almost meal time and while he was managing well enough hefting trays up and down the stairs (mostly?) by himself, the food eventually got cold near the end.

he looks tired, and temporary volunteers would be more than welcome if anyone's left uninjured. any patients that need him merely need to raise a hand or call out for him and he'll be there. HE IS... SUPER DOCTOR! ]

[While Lirael is certainly not super-anything, she's still trying to help out. In ways that don't involve actually talking to most of the patients, except when her magic is working, for the most part, though. She's between spell-casting periods at the moment, and coming out of the kitchen with a new tray for Hadesu to deliver as he comes back down the stairs.]

Who is this one for? [she asks, a bit shyly, offering it to the doctor. She might not know most of the people here, but she's making an attempt at learning, even if she's too shy to really get to know them, herself.]

Ah, I suppose that'll be [ random patient name here ], since I don't want to wake the ones already sleeping. Thank you very much for your help, Miss Lirael. How are you faring...?

Well enough. Though I wish I knew more about cooking....

[Most of what she's doing is reheating already-cooked food, at the moment. She only knows the basics of food preparation, since her kitchen duties back in the Clayr's Glacier had been largely taken up with dish-washing.]

Are you doing all right? Is there anything else you would like me to do...?
