WHO: Naoto, Heine, Badou, and Nill. WHAT: A family is happening. No, Naoto has some new roommates moving in. WHEN: June 5th (back dated) WHERE: Naoto's home. WARNINGS: None NOTE: Make a posting order yourselves lol
Who would have thought Badou would be the first one to arrive? Skulking around by the door, considering if he knocked or just went in? Sure, he knew he was expected but still.
Leaning down to lace up his boot, the half smoked cigarette burning away as it bounced at his lips, long strands of burnt apricot hair falling about his face, making his already partial view hindered. He'd wait a little longer, maybe flick his cigarette out, before going in.
But Naoto was a territorial person, so when someone was invading her space, she felt it. Not to mention that everyone that's happened set her on edge, making her more aware. The bladed maiden heard the footsteps outside of her door and walked over. Pausing, she thought how bad of an idea this probably was, but the best idea since arriving. She would need to get used to this, considering she always lived alone.
Hand on the doorknob, she turned and pulled it open. She was met with the chain smoker outside of her door.
It was probably for the best that they all stuck together, from the time he'd already spent here and the troubled times he'd heard others, as well as Heine talk about getting into, it was safest for them all, really.
Looking forwards as the door opened, Badou was greeted with the long legs of his female co-worker. Tracing them up with his smoky green eye until he met her face in his sight. "Hey." He spoke as a greeting as he pulled himself up, dusting his hands down before stuffing them into the deep pockets of his long coat. "So.. can I come in?" He asked, maybe picking up a little on Naoto's edgy vibe.
Walking inside, Badou looked around. You could tell Naoto had been living here alone for a while, everything neat, fairly tidy and to a minimum, no clutter for him t tidy up, he was going to have to find a new hobby. Perhaps she had some clothes that needed fixing?
"Nice place you got here." Walking straight over to the couch and sitting down on the arm of it, his hands fumbling about inside his pocket, toying over his lighter.
"Yeah..." Words didn't mean much between them or any of their crew. But one thing had to be said, "No smoking. You want to do that, do it outside." Plainfly said. Her house, her rules so to speak.
Well, that was a kick in the balls. Badou's face actually dropped as he let what was left of his cigarette fizzle out, the taste of just plain old normal air made him want to light up another straight away. Walking his way inside and looking around. "What gives?".. because there was plenty of windows. Turning to look back at Naoto, at that serious face of hers and his heart sank. "Okay, okay, no smokin' in the house." Kicking his boot a little into the floor, like a child told no more computer games before bed.
So it seemed that Badou would be spending a hell of a lot of time out on that porch.
All it took was a glare to shut him up and Naoto was content that's all it took.
"There's not much, but help yourself to anything. There are three rooms. When Nill shows up, I'll ask if she wants to stay with me or have a room to herself. If she picks then latter, then the both of you (you and Heine) are rooming together."
Badou respected those he'd spent close time with, he might not show it all that well, on account of his hissy fits and constant ranting, but really, if Naoto wanted him to shut the hell up and back off of something, all it would ever take would be a simple knowing look.
"Wait what?" His shoulders hung and a look of total unfair treatment plastered over his face." Why do I gotta share a room with him!? You know for a start that's not gonna go down well! I'll just crash on the couch if that's the case." He'd rather sleep in the garden than in the same room as Heine, and he knew for a fact that Heine would have a few harsh words to say, about being asked to room with eyepatch. If Nill wanted her own room, Badou would sacrifice his for her though, in a heartbeat.
"I'd give Nill preference over any of you." That was the truth. "It may not be much, but we actually have rooms here. If Nill stays with me, then you have nothing to worry about, but I'm leaving the decision up to her. If you both can't be civil then you're more than welcomed to leave, but I doubt it since it goes against our plan of sticking together."
"I guessed that much." He wasn't offended too, Nill was innocent and couldn't look after herself, not here anyway, so she was the main concern right now, whatever needed to be done to keep her safe, he'd go alone with.
"Whao~ easy eh, I won't be leavin', I'd rather stick it out with a pissed Heine barkin' at me in the night, then wing it out there with the ghosts and shit."
"Why'd I wanna go in your room anyway!?" He's not sure what to think of that... is she hiding something that she doesn't want him to know? Cause she knows its his second nature to snoop? Or is she implying he's some kind of creepy panty sniffer or something? Has Heine been talking shit about him again!?
"I only have what I've got on me, so I don't need a big room. You girls need space and shit is what I mean." Hands in pockets, shoulders shrugged.
"Alight." Not that Badou was the kind to invade others privacy, specially not female friends privacy. "I wont go near your room, its cool."
Badou sunk down onto the floor where he'd been standing and sat cross-legged on the floor. He pulled his pack of cigarettes out, placed one to his lips, took his lighter out... and stopped. Looking over at Naoto as he sighed and put the lighter back away, the cigarette was soon tucked behind an ear for later.
"Thing is, I don't think I've ever known a normal girl, even Mimi was kinda tomboyish and odd. So, you're pretty normal in my book anyway."

This was going to be strange. Her house was the new idea of the church. She would just have to remember that this place wasn't just her own.

She sat on the couch on the opposite end.
"When have you known me to be a normal girl?"

An elbow rested on the side of the couch, looking off in the distance. "That's fine because I really don't care all that much."
"Am I going to have to make "No Smoking" signs for you to remember?"
