When Montparnasse and Evil!Thea (TM) arrive at his room, he opens the door and gestures for her to enter.
Then because he is clearly a fool, he closes the door behind him.

"Make yourself comfortable." He suggests apathetically, and waits near the door, just in case, wondering who will make the first move.

"I was planning on it." Thea stripped off her shawl and placed it over a nearby lamp.

Don't berate her for her dress sense, being a rather mousy girl on occasion can be irritating.

"So this is your room? I expected something grander."

The room is, in fact, rather plain. Only the necessities, really.

He rolls his eyes at the comment, however. "And why? I rarely use it and when I do, it is to sleep, or for activies that do not require lavish furnishings."

Then a shrug. "Of course, if you wished to see a nice place, you might visit Paris."

"I prefer Rome." Of course, she hadn't seen either in quite some time.

"Nothing excites a lady like silk furnishings." Thea added.

Another scowl.

"Then I would say that she is a very cheap woman." He remarks coolly
"I have no penchant toward beautiful things. Only people."

Then to look at his clothing? Yeah, he might be lying.
