i know this is completely random, but for the past 2 yeras i have been thinking about a very heavy questioin. actually questions. those questions are, y are we here? wat is our purpose in life? it seems like we are only here to be born, grow up, procreate, get old then eventually die. to me, that explination seems way to simple. while we are growing up, life throws so many curve balls, its hard to believe that the explanation is so simple. i was talking to one of my friends today and he brought up how b/4 we became civilized, we survived on our own instincts. now we have people telling up wat is right and wat is appropriate. y cant we just go back to living the way we used to live? it seems to me that one main reason we are here is to procreate, and then eventually die. theres always that group of people saying that everyone is equal, myself being one of them, but if everyone is equal then y is there racism, sexim, agism, and all sorts of things saying that a certain group of people arent equal? many people that i have met go along with wat people say about not everyone being equal, well ive got sum news for then. y does it matter wat color a persons skin is, if they are able bodied or handicapped? shouldnt people care more about wat a person is like on the inside, not wat they look like?? tell me if im wrong, but doesnt it say in the bible that God created us all in his image? i mean ya, im not a very religions person, but i actually remember that from the many times i was forced to copy out of a bible during detention when i was younger. so if God created all of us in his image, gave us freedom to choose between right and wrong, y should we listen to wat other people are telling us about the appropriate way to act? who gave them the power to do that? the reason y i brought up the whole racism, sexism, ageism thing is because it all ties in together. throughtout life we have been told and taught wat people believe to be true about how we should act. on my myspace, under my hero section, i put Martin Luther King Jr. because he was one of the people to stand up for equal rights of all people, not just black people. he believed that it shouldnt matter wat color a persons skin is, or if they are able bodied or not, everyone is equal. he went against wat he had been taught as a little boy, that black people should not be treated the same as white people because of his skin color. no matter how many times he was thrown in jail he never gave up. even though his home got attacked, he still stood strong. he is a true hero because he believed that wat people are teaching younger generatinos was a lie and it still is. ur prolly thinking, "wow, she went off into a completely different topic" and i guess u could say that. all im trying to say is that y should we listen to wat the government has to say about things? i mean, the government has already gotten us into debt, we are still fighting a war that should have been over a long time ago and no matter wat anyone says, there are still going to be the select few people who do not listen to wat other people say, but they go with wat their heart and their mind tells them to do. Martin Luther King Jr. did that and look at wat a strong impression he left on our society. i know for one that i am going to continue listening to my heart and mind and do wat i feel is right. u can criticize me all u want, but i will not back down from wat i believe to be true.
