Toast Post
Saturday morning, we decide to have some toast. We select a lovely and healthy whole grain bread of some sort, pop it in the toaster oven and set it to toast. Twice.
But the bread never really gets very toasty, just warmer and maaaybe a little crispy on the surface. I remember that we've had this problem in the past, but whatever, it'll still be tasty. So we get the toast out and spread the butter on it. Honestly, it's really good stuff, but...it just isn't quite right. The bread is quite tasty, but it really just kinda overpowers the butter, and...well, it just wasn't toast.
"Don't get me wrong...I mean, I really really love this...but ultimately, it just isn't what I'm looking for."
Heh. Pretty sure I've said that about various women before.
