I've been Pager-ized

Well, as of today I am now tied to Laurel by a pager. I am on-call 24/7 unless I have the day off or I have gotten the day pre-approved by my manager. Thankfully, he's a pretty nice guy and knows that I have a life on weekends once in a while.

At least I get paid for it...

Damn, sorry to hear that. How often do you think you're going to be tied the office to the point of not going away for weekend?

Pretty much every weekend, unless I have something special going that requires me to be more than 1 hour from Laurel.

I've already pre-approved Thanksgiving and four curling events. He's fine with others unless it specifically conflicts with his schedule.
