The man now exudes a type of confidence that seems unwavering to any force in the world.

[Although, Nyarlathotep doesn't quite mind this. As boring as Lucifer would find it, Nyarlathotep in contrast expressed to the boy nothing but amusement. In fact, having drones around is advantageous to him. Drones make up at least half or more of the citizens in Mayfield. [But even know Lucifer is seeing that attempt to breed anything that isn't in the drones programming might be futile. They're beyond will-less, mindless even, to him. Even the Manikins in the Vortex World had some survival instinct, some desire to live.

Cain had never lost his temper with anyone like that before, let alone been so rude or needlessly vicious. Somewhere, deep inside, he felt a sense of that rage and blame still simmering under the surface.
