I went out to get food this morning in my car and came back to find a yellow paper on my porch door handle. So I grab the paper and read it and it's a "Citizen Advisory" from the Union Police Dpt., and it says "Help us prevent a theft from your vehicle." Then went on to tell me to basically not leave anything valuable in my car like the radar

also maybe it's some dude trying to steal your shit guilt-free, go to the police station with the paper and ask them if it's authentic

Well they shouldn't really have a problem with the radar detector, it is legal in this state and most states; not to mention they know most people are stupid and make more mistakes with them then with out them.

I really don't think that it would be a thief, would really be a weird one. If I see a cop sometime soon in Union I guess I might ask just to be sure. :P
