I have a friend who makes back carriers for when Torrin's a bit bigger... she made a fuzzy zebra one for me and it was a Godsend. It balances the baby's weight mainly on your hips so you barely even notice you're carrying him....

You should speak with my wife, he made all of the slings she uses, one of them are front carrier wraps with no stitching, just done by ties, others are formal looking slings which I wear to synagogue and put Ru in.
