My dad and i had a conversation about inheritance tax, how it's not about the death, but about how people get unearned wealth (in the case of the very wealthy, disturbing amounts) for merely being in the family, not for something they themselves did. The estate tax cap is already high enough that any reasonable property transfer should be exempt. The bitching and moaning going on in congress right now is grade A bullshit.
