Something strange is going on. I just played through episode one of Doom on the second highest difficulty without dying once or even feeling challenged. Must be all these new-fangled, advanced first-person shooter games have honed my skills, and going back to good old Doom is like child's play. Speaking of child's play, I also beat Super
