Today's workout: Exact same times as yesterday. Exact same numbers as yesterday. I was distracted in the beginning because my workout buddy was there, and realized toward the end that I wasn't going to even make yesterday's crap numbers, so I pushed a lot harder in the last 5 or 6 minutes to make it up. I have issues with the tops of my feet as well, and have found Asics work best for me.

i highly recommend going to a dedicated running store to get some shoes. when i went, they watched me walk barefoot and suggested shoes to compensate for the weird things i do when i walk. i have had _no_ joint issues since i've started this running thing.

even if you aren't planning on running, it's really good to get fitted properly for shoes.

I think I'm going to Marathon Sports, it's just a matter of finding the time to get there. Thank you for the suggestion, it's helpful to hear how they helped you. :)
